History
The Gujarat Flying Club was established on 20 December 1958 under the guidance of its president, Mr Ramanbhai Amin, a keen aviator himself, Since its inception, the club has produced a number of commercial pilots, aircraft maintenance engineers, flight engineers, as well as flying instructors who are active in the field of aviation to date, with a number of them holding prestigious positions in the Armed Forces as well as with commercial airlines.
